Camargo wins Frink Career Grant

Summer Camargo, 18, a trumpet player at the Juilliard School, completed her freshman year of college majoring in Jazz Studies. Summer has been a member of the Grammy Band (2018), the Next Generation Women in Jazz Combo (2019), the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra (2019), and was named a National YoungArts Foundation Merit winner (2017) and Honorable Mention in Jazz Trumpet (2018), as well as Merit winner in Jazz Composition (2018).
